CANARI regularly offers workshops on various aspects of participatory natural resource management, including:

• Stakeholder identification and analysis
• Understanding and managing natural resource conflicts
• Organisational development for natural resource management organisations
• Visioning and strategic planning for community-based tourism    Workshop report
• Using participatory GIS mapping in natural resource management
• Institutional arrangements for protected area management

Specialised regional or national workshops are also offered under specific projects or upon request, for example:

• Introduction to tools and methods for participatory natural resource management
• Participatory forest management
• Policies and institutions for participatory wetlands management
• Strategic planning for protected area management

In 2007, CANARI is offering several training workshops under projects, including:

1. "Tools and methods for facilitators in participatory forest management" in August in Trinidad
2. "National workshops on "Participatory forest management" in Barbados , Dominica and St. Kitts & Nevis in September & October
